About Us

Our Story

Tennessee Industrial Specialties was established in 1980 as a family-owned corporation. We’re strategically located in Sugar Tree, Tennessee, right at the heart of the United States. Originally, our primary specialty was constructing conveyors and belting for Locomotive Wheel Truing Machines. We also built conveyors for the Steel Stamping, Scrap Metal, and Recycling Industry. Over the years, we’ve undertaken numerous installations, rebuilds, and repairs.

In the past two decades, we’ve seen a growing demand from our customers to supply parts, sprockets, and conveyor belts. This increasing demand led our focus to cater more to this market segment. We are driven by our customers’ needs. When customers ask for quality products, reasonably priced, delivered promptly, T. I. S. delivers. We’ve gained a reputation as a “one-stop shop” for conveyor rebuilds. Whether it’s belting, bearings, sprockets, rail, or steel tracks for your next rebuild, Tennessee Industrial Specialties has got you covered.

We take pride in being the exclusive stampers of our products. Our facility is equipped with a range of presses, ranging from 150 tons to 1,200 tons. Over the years, our reach has expanded beyond domestic borders. Tennessee Industrial Specialties, Inc. has served customers globally, shipping products to countries including Australia, Canada, Japan, and New Zealand. We cater to both OEM and replacement markets and can collaborate with you to custom design and construct a belt to retrofit your conveyors, enhancing its life and functionality.
